Charlotte Islamic Academy PTO Information
Each year the PTO provides funds and volunteers for many programs and activities that benefit students, teachers, and staff. Volunteers are essential to the success of all of these programs. Opportunities exist for everyone whether you have a little or a lot of time to give.
Please review the information below and keep in mind those areas of interest in order to complete the form below. Feel free to email me or any of the committee chairs if you would like more information about a particular volunteer need.

Who Can Volunteer
Volunteer opportunities are not limited to parents. If you know of grandparents, neighbors, or coworkers that have some time to spare, they may volunteer as well.
Why Your Help Is So Important
Imagine what your child could achieve if you were involved in their education. Research shows that regardless of parents’ income and educational background, being a more active participant helps them do better both inside AND outside school!
Getting more involved at school events is a great way to show your child that you care about their education. You could serve as a classroom parent, chaperone field trips, or even help out during bake sales! It doesn’t take much of your time either. Choose an activity, event, or program that you feel comfortable with, and remember: every little bit counts when it comes to supporting your child’s school.
Parents Benefit Greatly, Too
When parents become involved in their child’s education, they become more comfortable in the school building, gain confidence in their parenting skills, and feel more capable of helping their children learn.
The PTO is extremely grateful for the time and energy you devote to enriching the lives of all of the children at Charlotte Islamic Academy. With Allah’s help then with ours, we’re going to get the school to a higher level.
We look forward to working with you this year!
